Accredited Addiction Treatment on Music Row
This center is supported by our main campus. Our clinical expertise, evidence-based practices, and innovative treatment approaches are why so many individuals in the region choose Cumberland Heights as the place to begin their recovery journey. As the recipient of the 2022 National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) Dr. James West Quality Improvement Award, we take pride in our promise to use proven treatment practices that lead to lifelong recovery. By combining powerful data insights with compassionate care, Cumberland Heights has become renowned as a patient-first treatment center.
Cumberland Heights is accredited by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). We have received certification for Levels 3.7 (Medically Monitored Inpatient Services) and 3.5 (Clinically Managed Residential Services). We are the first treatment provider in Tennessee to achieve this recognition from ASAM.
Our accreditations are made possible through our dedication to evidence-based practices, or EBPs. These are scientifically validated, effective methods for the treatment of substance use disorder and co-occurring mental illness. Please visit our services page for a complete list of our EBPs
Outpatient Treatment for Music Professionals & More
Music Row is a place where musicians come to transform their lives. Whether they’re meeting with labels or recording at Ocean Way, this historic strip is where many find new beginnings. However, the late-night lifestyle, constant touring, and pressure to be creative can lead to alcohol and drug misuse and dependence.
At Cumberland Heights, we’ve worked with many artists who can identify with these challenges. Today, this has led to the development of a treatment path for musicians. Some of our staff members have experienced it first-hand. That experience, along with quality education and training, helped our clinicians develop programming that meets the unique needs of artists and musicians.
